Neil Holgate launched his trotting driving career with an impressive win on his new arrival, Giant Pyla [geeont peela]. They were parked outside Fort Pleasant (John Henry Nicholson) for most of the journey, but stayed on well in the straight to win convincingly. Cerise des Brouets (Joe Quinn) ran a solid race first up and Gazelle Bouillon (Rocker Laidler) rattled home promisingly.
