Mission
The “Société d’Encouragement à l’élevage du Cheval Français” (SECF) (Society for the Encouragement of the French Horse) exists under the Associations law of 1901. Its main mission is to further French harness racing and protect the French trotting horse and its specific characteristics. Also known by the name LeTROT, it has the status of Governing Body for harness racing in France.
