Eric says:

Flash de Longuerue – Was in fine form but has been disqualified on his last two starts for breaking connections will be hoping that a return to the hard track as opposed to the grass will get him back on his job. He’s a major player if he trots. Black Williams – Real nice horse but doesn’t win many he was 2nd last time out though and is drawn well in 2. Feline du Padoueng – Has won two out of 3 since arriving in The UK and connections will be hopeful of a big run again today. Was impressive here when winning with a pillar to post victory in a handicap so it will be interesting to see how she fares in a Free For All. Amazing – Talented individual who was third at Amman Valley last time out has been campaigned in better company than this and would have a chance if he can find some of his old sparkle. Etoile du Cantal – Winner at York over this distance on her penultimate start and based on that she could feature here today. Dolce Vita Wood – Arrives in form having won at Brough and finished runner up at Wolsingham this is the first time that we see her over this distance in The UK and she looks to have a big chance. Crack des Noyers – Consistent type who has won over 2 miles and 1 mile since arriving in The UK looks set to play a big part drawn 7 is a hinderance though. Elias du Padoueng – Is never far away in these types of races and he has each way claims again despite the widest draw of all. Cedre Pierji – A nice type but he hasn’t managed to get in the winners enclosure yet since arriving from France. He is talented enough to win this and is drawn 1 on the second line so could get a nice trip. Encore Sun – Has finished 2nd twice at York so far this season and will be looking to go one better here today. Definite place claims.

Feline Du Padoueng was very impressive when winning here last month and she will be there or there abouts again today whilst Dolce Vita Wood arrives in great form and is in with a shout but Flash De Longuerue has been impressive at times this season and he is taken to the land the spoils.
