The Kath Ellis and Peter Bradder pair of 4yos turned in faultless performances in the first competitive Juniors event, Hilova Forlife (Andrew Cairns) comfortably holding off Hors de Portee (James Hayhthornthwaite.) It was run as a non-betting event, because it was effectively two races with separate finishing orders and prizemoney for the 4yos and the 3yos. In the latter race Incredible Man (Joseph Ripley) (pictured below) finished clear of Icona Plasy (Mike Evans) and indeed in front of the third 4yo, Hot Lava.
