Black Williams (Joby Randall) sped out of the gate with plenty of trot and stretched the field out, early in front of Cedre Pierji (Paul Mather) and Enez Leman (Mike Evans). The peloton bunched together with a lap to go, when Cedre Pierji left the pocket and tipped to the outside, to attack Black Williams down the back straight, clearing him going into the final turn and going onto a well deserved first victory on British soil. And making it two from two in 2021 for Paul Mather. The early speed left Black Williams vulnerable and he was overtaken late by Enez Leman who finished on for second in front of Black in third.
