Black Williams – Has been in consistent form this year and he has place claims if he stays the distance. Emirat Du Levant – Top class horse who loves Tir Prince the distance won’t be a problem and he should go very close off his 20-yard trail. Calimero Brouets – Has finished 3rd here in his last two starts so is coming back to form he won a race here over this distance last year and he will be in with a shout again today. Universal Cat – The veteran iron horse who will be carrying on when others have cried enough. If it turns in to a war of attrition, then this fella will relish it. Diamant De Godrel – Top quality trotter who has a massive chance even off a 40-yard trail. He will be staying on at the finish and it would be no surprise to see him win. Bueno Verderie – Has 2 wins to his name from 4 starts in the UK and was very impressive winning over the mile here at the beginning of the month.
