Couer de Venise (Rhun Wilson) was appropriately named for an extremely wet Tir Prince on 4th July, where Crack des Noyers (Steven Williams) and Espoir Lila (Aled Davies) completed a trifecta for owner Joby Randall and trainer Rhun Wilson in the Prix Elvin Horse Transport Le Trot. Coeur came off 30yds to win the mile and half handicap at rates of 2.11.4 / 1.21.7. (Joby was justifiably absent because his son was making his highly successful debut at scrum half for England, against the USA at Twickenham.)
