It was a Haythornthwaite quinella in the “April for Sure” , with Richard more prominent throughout than is usual on Emirat du Levant and having little trouble holding off Falcon de Melleray (James), who prevailed over long time leader Comanchero Beach for second. Pity about the slippery track, but this didn’t interfere with the trotting contribution to the celebrations for Kit’s life and achievements.
