ICONA PLASY became one of the first two British-breds of the I generation to qualify, doing so in the hand of Mike Evans at Talsarn. The filly is by Reach de Vandel (Look de Star) out of the Evans’s good race mare Uve dju Kriss (Laredo Jet). A day earlier at York, INCREDIBLE MAN another Reach de Vandel out of a mare who graced our tracks, Tulipe de Bolero, had qualified for the Josephs (Ripley and Quinn).
