Steve Wiiliams made a positive start from his 20 yard handicap and found the front after a quarter mile of the mile and a half journey with the mare Catalane Du Canet in the Prix The Hungry Ram LeTROT. From there he had the opposition in trouble as he dictated proceedings all the way to the finish line, making it four victories for Catalane Du Canet in 2021. Fiesta d’Eole (Rhun Wilson) made the most of her pocket trip to finish second in front of Enez Leman (Mike Evans) in third.
