Prix Citius, York 24 July
Tir Prince generously offered to raffle a Sale horse and use the proceeds to sponsor Trots. Gipsy de Tillard was the raffle horse and Phil O’Neill held the lucky number. The 5yo mare immediately impressed in winning the mile and a quarter Prix Citius at York, in a mile rate of 2.6.6 (1.18.6). Encore Sum (Jason Ali) showed improved form in running second without threatening the winner.
