Gamma du Chene and Rocker Laidler came off 40 to take the Prix Jubilee at York for Team Sweeney. It looked certain we would have our first Junior winning in open company when Hilova Forlife (Andrew Cairns) was still leading at the half furlong, but a mistake saw her disqualified. Fina d’Occagnes (Joseph Ripley) then just failed to hold off Gamma in yet another of the weekend’s close finishes.
