Florentine and Jak Foody made every post a winning one in the inaugural trot at Haugh Field, setting the winning track record for mile and a quarter of 2.39.4 (2.07.5 mile rate) in the process. But they only just held off the challenge of Feerie de Triou (Grant Cullen) who came off 40 (1.273 m) to record a mile rate of 2.05.4.
