Falcon de Melleray and Richard Haythornthwaite came four wide round the final bend to dominate in the final straight, as long time runaway leader Crazy du Calorne cried enough. It was left to the consistent Giant Pyla (Neil Holgate) to hold off the fast-finishing Flash du Longuerue (Andrew Cairns) for second.
