Blason and John Henry Nicholson followed up last year’s victory in the Ephie Mather, with Diamant de Godrel, by denying Paul Mather Sr a win in his father’s memorial race. They came away from Cedre Pierji (Joss Edwards) in the straight, with Couer de Venise (Rhun Wilson) holding on for third.
