York 7 August Prix Non-Winners
Surprisingly Eliothrope had not won a race in 2021, so he had little trouble winning this non-winners race, gradually overcoming his 40 yard trail in the hands of Grant Cullen. Dorenzo du Houlbet (Leo Arnett) ended up a frustrating second for the third time running since arrival, and, of the others, Cambada d’Or (Adrian Gafa) impressed before galloping when duelling with Eliothrope down the back for the last time.
