‘He’s ‘bottomless’, said Rhun Wilson after Crack des Noyers led the last three circuits of the Prix Marathon, reducing the Vireo de Regen’s national two mile record to 4.12.0 (mile rate 2.6.0). Diamant de Godrel came off 40 (rating 2.05.3) for a gallant second and Emirat du Levant as usual came from way back to take third from Black Williams.
